This is a new antenna variant of the famous EXCL-CVA-2467 antenna suitable for 5G FR2 measurement applications. Connector options include high-quality 2.92 mm or 2.4 mm coaxial connectors for high reliability and are able to work up to 50 or 40 GHz. This antenna is based on an in-house developed transition from a coaxial connector to the feed  of a Vivaldi-type radiator structure. The transverse electromagnetic wave (TEM) propagating in the coaxial cable and connector is converted to a transverse form (TE), which enables a smooth impedance continuum from the connector to the radiator over a very wide frequency range. The unique solution is one of the masterpieces of ExcellAnt’s experts in many ways and despite its simple structure, the performance is exceptionally good.
