Wideband high efficient Test & Measurement antenna for 5G FR2 applications. Stable gain over the operation bandwidth. Good cross polarization discrimination (XPD) properties over the frequency range for accurate measurement applications.

This antenna is based on an in-house developed transition from a coaxial 1.85 mm connector to the feed point of a Vivaldi-type radiator structure. The transverse electromagnetic wave (TEM) propagating in the coaxial cable and connector is converted to a transverse form (TE), which enables a smooth impedance continuum from the connector to the radiator over a very wide frequency range. The unique solution is one of the masterpieces of ExcellAnt’s experts in many ways and despite its simple structure, the performance is exceptionally good.
